The Death of My Fish

I woke up one day,
Sleepy as could be.
Though I didn’t know,
I think you will agree.

I walked into the kitchen,
I gave my mum a hug.
She told me the news,
I was no longer snug.

My fish was long gone,
My body was knotted tight.
Which left me in shock,
I could no more see light.

I was crying a river,
I was mess.
I felt so sad,
I must confess.

I thought it was mad,
It was pulling me apart.
At this moment I was sad,
For, I had a broken heart.

Sweetie was as pretty as a rose,
She looked like lavender and lily.
I don’t know where she went,
Although, she was utmost silly.
